We've been bashing our heads against the wall of links on our nav bar and wondering how on earth we could keep it under control. Until this week, when we added drop-down menus for the territories.

Christmas special!

Christmas is coming. So why not celebrate by reviewing a holiday-themed beer?

We're putting together a UNOB Christmas Special and we want YOUR beer reviews. On our 'to taste' list are: Samichlaus 2006 vintage, an Austrian brew that's the world's strongest lager, at 14-15% ABV; Bad Elf; Very Bad Elf; Lump of Coal Ale; Warm Welcome Ale (those last four a present from the Vermont Delegate, Mattias Dahlstrom, that I have been cellaring since last Christmas!); Smuttynose Winter Ale; and Biere de Noel by Microbrewers Breughel.

With your help, the UNOB Christmas Special can be a truly awesome event! The beers don't have to be specific to Christmas. They could be any winter warmer type brew. Most smaller brewers do their own Winter ale, while many do have a holiday-themed brew. Check out your local beer scene and get writing!
