Alaskan Pale ale: a six-pack to die for
![]() Great Beer Shirts! |
Originating from the pure, unspoilt glacier waters of Juneau, Alaska, this fine drop gives its drinker a truly remarkable feeling of... well... unadultered joy to the tastebuds!
Every single drop of Alaskan Pale ale, right down to the last one, not only provides an orgy of pleasure over the tongue, but tastes absolutely 100% like no other beer on earth.
Perhaps best described in the words of its maker, the Alaskan Brewery Company, this exceptional beer has "a clean, softly malted body with a hint of citrus overtones, followed by a hop-accented dry, crisp finish".
Getting thirsty?
Well so was I when I stumbled into the Salty Dawg Saloon in Homer, Alaska (now this town is at THE end of the world, look it up on Google!) and tried Alaskan Pale for the first time ever.
Let's just say, "crisp finish" is an understatement. Because after well over 17 or so bottles, it still went down like the first... easy and fast!
Should I ever be stranded on an island with one thing to take with me, I have but one request: A case of Alaska's finest please. Chilled. Like the pure, unspoilt glacier waters of Juneau.
