Anyone who knows anything about beer knows that Keiths is just another bland mainstream beer like Bud & Blue. It's no where's near the IPA that historically was shipped to India...quite the opposite actually with a very low bitterness, low body and only 5% abv. I'm always amazed at how Nova Scotia's have swallowed the Labatt marketing crap that's been shoved down their throats over the years...what a shame!

im from yarmnouth ns right next to halifax and been drinkin kieths since i was young and its by far the best beer there is ive tried almost all canadian beers and kieths is not waterd down for those who said its the same as labatts it a 200 year old recipe so if anything all the other beers TRIED to be like kieths with no sucsess point being give respect where it is do. and to alenxander peace we love u.

Yes leaving one,s hobbit hole can shock & bewilder one,s sense,s . 200&1,s Nova Scotian odyessy taught me a lesson Alexander Kieth can brew a tasty, satisfying brew. I have been all over the world and sampled beer from each and every place i have been to, and still i find Keith's the best out of bottle beer there is. Anyone who says to the contrary should perhaps add water the there full bodied glass as they are obviously to use to watered down commercial taste of americqn beer's

Sorry folks, keiths is definitely not an IPA. It is just another macro brew and really no different the Canadian/Labbats/Bud, sorry to burst your bubble.If you want to taste an IPA try a dogfish head, smuttynose or even a Propellar IPA,from Halifax

Keiths is NOT an IPA. Who is Princess Laura...some twat paid to say good things about this moose piss? Keiths is the same as Labatt's Blue, Molson Canadian, Lakeport so-called pilsner. It's CRAP!!!

Yes indeed, ash did invite me to send him my pics. Unfortunately, there's not much beer reporting to do from here, so-called "Seclusion". We don't even have a Timmy's and sometimes, in the dead of winter, the whole town runs out of dark beer! If you want to talk whine, then I'm your princess. :)

Oh no! Anonymous, say it's not so? My much loved IPA is not shipped from the Historic Properties? I'm crushed!

You sound like a labatt's ad. I doubt Keith's is being "exported" to BC from their overworked brewery in Halifax. More likely, it's being brewed in New West.

Princess Laura - Beer Delegate To Be?

Not being a true beer connoisseur, my terminology will be weak, I'm afraid. That said, I do enjoy a good brew. While visiting north of the (US) border, I had the chance to enjoy one - Alexander Keith's IPA. I didn't even know what an "IPA" was when my friend ordered it for me; I just knew that I liked it. No heavy smell or taste, just a nice refreshing beer.

Princess Laura's image of the "cool, crisp, clean-tasting ale" is perfect. BC is very large - I think that Sebastian Lipsett could use some help checking out the beers and pubs; I nominate Princess Laura!
