The aromas of this pale ale are strong hop esters and citrus overtones which are common in a traditional pale ale, however, there are some malty overtones present.

Weighing in at 5.8% ABV, this beer is mild and flavorful. The hop flavors dominate the initial taste of this beer but there are malt overtones which add to the complexity but do not overwhelm this beer.

The color is bright copperish with no haze or cloudiness, a good quality in a pale ale. The light foamy head dissipates as the beer is consumed and sheets the glass while consumed.

There is a smooth texture which coats the palate with a highly bitter and acidic film followed by a light and refreshing carbonation which gives Angler's a unique mouthfeel. Considering this beer is from Utah, I was surprised at the quality and overall tastiness of this beer.
