As a fellow curmudgeon, I've always sympathized with Scrooge. He's gotten a bad rap over the years and it's high time he gets his own brew.
Wychwood's Christmas ale this year, Bah Humbug, is a cinnamon spiced English strong ale (6.0% ABV) that comes bottled with another fine example of the beautiful label art the Oxforshire brewery is famous for.
Pours a deep ruby mahogany with a very small off-white head. Aroma of pear and cinnamon, flavours of apple, banana, and hints of cinnamon and cocoa with a lingering banana and cinnamon aftertaste.
Very refreshing, surprisingly light, and quite a lovely holiday ale with some interesting flavours.
You certainly won't Bah Humbug this brew.
