All that I can say is that Bass Ale is a dream come true for beer drinkers. Its dark amber color provides the taste that a lighter lager just doesn't give.

I first tried it when I was eating Hooters hot wings and it was a beer of the month.

It is best served on tap in my opinion. Its bottle taste was just too different from draft to enjoy.

Steeplechase?

Have I gone mad? Did I imagine tossing back litres of Bass Steeplechase Ale only to find it non existent anywhere now? Not even a mention on the web? It did exist at one time didn't it? Tell me it did...

I have to agree I like Bass Draft but in the bottle it changes the tase to something completely different from the tap.
