Beer and Wisdom Teeth

How long do you have to wait after having your wisdom teeth pulled before you can drink beer?

The Beer Doctor says:

Well, the reason why beer is not usually advised is because beer might dissolve the blood clot that would have prevented any bleeding from the tooth socket.

This might cause fresh bleeding and delay the wound healing.

It is advised to avoid alcohol for at least 3-5 days and, if sutures are present, then avoid alcohol for at least 7 days.

Let me know how your wound is after 3 days.
