The Beer Police are a relatively new organization who were originally set up to make sure that bars were keeping their beer lines clean and weren't pouring short measures.
They have zealously expanded their remit and can now be found cracking down on macro drinkers who claim that Guinness beer is a "meal in a glass", or beer snobs who insist on explaining the difference between keg beer and cask-conditioned beer to every server.
Since most of this work has to be done undercover, the beer police have no uniform.
Their badge of office is the crystal beer belly ring.
Use this exact replica (pictured top right) if you want to impersonate a Beer Police officer and swing your weight around a bit.
Terrorize brewers, servers and drinkers alike by making up new regulations on the spot.
Make sure the Beer Police don't catch you, though. They don't take kindly to impostors.
Even the impossible can be found on eBay, if you are patient
in your searching.
Try searching for Russian
River
(you'll need to narrow down by beer name, ex. Pliny, Damnation,
Temptation), Black
Albert,
or any of the BIG beers.
Don't overlook eBay's Belgium
Beer results either...
