Sometimes you see a product so perfect, you just have to rush out and buy one. Or, in this case, log onto Amazon and buy one.

Here at UNOB Towers, we're stringing up a pathetically poor display of Christmas lights -- think of the classic holiday movie Redneck Christmas (you know, the one that hasn't been made yet, but would surely be a major hit) -- meets the scene from National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation where Chevy Chase is trying to get all the lights working. And they don't.

Only ours are even more pathetic.

It was during this embarrassing attempt to inject a little cheer around here that I decided it was time to get rid of the empty bottles. As I struggled to get them to the recycling bin, I began thinking how pretty beer bottles look with light shining through them. And wondering why nobody had created beer bottle Christmas lights.
