Best High School Field Trip. EVER.

I was 16 or 17 years old and it is the first time I've ever had the experience of drunkenness. It was on a school field trip to San Francisco.

Our driving group was consisted of me, Matt (a fellow musician who was a good friend of mine), Margy (redhead chick who i didn't know personally at the time, but was into me right away), Jeremiah (an average looking ginger kid who was actually a bad ass future MMA fighter) and the teacher who was driving (a really cool guy.)

Lets fast forward to the last night of the trip before the drive back the following evening. We're at an upscale culinary college restaurant across from a Lamborghini dealership and what looked like Will Farrel's house. Our meals were prepaid by the school so we could order anything we wanted without having to pay.

We were joking about how much older i look than 17 so they dare me to go to the bar and ask for a jug of Captain Morgan. I'm feeling brave and the teacher was cool enough that if he found out, it wouldln't be a big deal. So i went to the bar and asked the bartender if i could have the whole jug on the shelf in the back. She asked if i was 21, i said yes and without any more questions she handed me the entire jug! When i got back to the table i stuffed the jug in Matty's backpack so it wouldn't be seen.

When we got back to the hostel we waited until lights out, then snuck downstairs with some other groups and had fun drinking, playing solitaire, and basically living it up while we had the chance.

It was about 10 at night when we left the next day, so everybody fell asleep pretty quick...

Except for Margy and I. For all they know she was just sleeping on my lap! ;)

this is the only picture i have of her, and of the trip in general. we parted ways after the trip. :(
