This was close to the Batemans barrel (beers are displayed alphabetically by brewery) where I was stood; and I was mentally prompted to try the Shefford beer, as a former work colleague lived in Shefford in Bedfordshire.
It had a nice rich taste with plenty of hops to satisfy my palate.
I'm talking about the beer, of course, not the work colleague.
