Classic beer ads: Budweiser beer commercials!

Budweiser beer commercials have varied in quality over the years.

At their most influential, they've changed the language of a generation.

Who in their mid-30s can hold their hands on their hearts and swear they've never, ever said "WHASSUUUUUUUP?" in their lifetimes?

True, true.

The Budweiser frogs are another classic creation.

Not one of my favourites, but amusing in passing and, if a successful ad is a memorable ad, then this is one of the successful Budweiser beer commercials.

There have even been unofficial, amateur efforts at perfecting the Budweiser ads art.

Check out the third video, not an official Budweiser ad, perhaps the only one claiming that hugging a beer is better than chugging a beer.

Actually, in the case of Budweiser...

No, I won't finish that thought.

The Superbowl always attracts top-quality ads and Budweiser has taken a crack at them over the years.

The Bud Light Butt-le opener was apparently banned after being shown. Which tells you more about America than a thousand focus groups and marketing campaigns ever could.

Finally, for now at least, comes the Bud Light swear jar.
