Carolina Blonde ale
A delicious beer, I sampled this weekend at a fine drinking establishment in Wilmington, NC called SIN SIN.
I bought the Carolina Blonde hoping that the other Carolina brew I drank was just a fluke or a bad batch.
To my relief it was. The Blonde is so smooth and light. A magical drink.
I hadn't eaten yet so I was drinking on an empty stomach which when you are drinking crappy beers you get drunk too fast.
But the cool thing about drinking on an empty stomach when you are drinking good beer, is the beer becomes dinner, if you pace yourself.
Upon pouring you get a light straw color, with a light head.
It's a drinkable beer, with a light, pleasant taste that is inviting yet not overbearing.
Clean smell, not heavy by any means, overall very pleasant. A good multi-purpose beer for any occasion.
