Lucia Novara is our kind of gal. She's smart, funny, loves beer and as you can see from the pic, she even managed to pull Sam Adams. THE Sam Adams...

...and Ann O'Connell will sit proudly in front of many recently-emptied glasses on your behalf. How brave of her. She recently relocated from California, where she was a valued West coast Delegate. Now she's a mountain Delegate. Oh, fickle fortune!
Our Colorado beer guide will have a real mountain to climb.
As you'll see from her awe-inspiring application speech, Lucia Novara will have her work cut out for her!
Asking any one person to cover an entire state is bad enough...
...but when it's home to the Great American Beer Festival...
Anyway! We didn't twist her arm, she twisted ours.
After roughly a year of working alone in the state, Lucia's been joined by none other than Ann O'Connell, who until recently was soaking up the sun (and the suds) in California!
Ann takes no crap from anybody and will happily speak her mind on any hoppy substance that crosses her path. As you can see from her pic, she's not afraid of looking a huge round in the eye and working her way methodically through each and every last glassful.
Let's hear from the girls!
How has it happened that the United Nations of Beer, the pinnacle of all things Beer-a-licious, does not have a Colorado delegate yet?
Denver, Colorado has more beer brewed within the city limits than any other city in the United States! It is also home to the Great American Beer Festival, which includes 347 different breweries and over 1,600 brews.
I had the immense pleasure of experiencing this heaven on earth last year: Click here to read Lucia's report.
As for my personal
qualifications, I can be found most weekends haunting the micobrew pubs
in Lower Downtown. I have a working knowledge of beer brewing and a
discerning palate.
I am also a Beer Democrat; I enjoy the darkest coffee stout as much as the fruitiest winter wheat and all the glorious shades in between.
The UNOB needs a Colorado Delegate, and I need an Official Laminated Card to subsidize my weekends. It's a match made in heaven...
Two magic words that will put a big smile on my face: "brew pub". I'm a gal who can look, swirl, smell and taste with the best of 'em – just make sure mine has hops...
Since moving to Colorado, I have been drooling over the choice of local beers and brewers here. I'm looking forward to sharing them with you!
Fancy yourself as a UNOB Beer Delegate for your
country, province or state? Great! Come to our Beer Delegates page
for details and an application form.
