For the full experience, the glass is first rimmed with triple sec and cinnamon (Optional, but a highly recommended addition to this seasonal). Then, with a pull of the scarecrow tap handle, an amber colored ale poured leaving a white, creamy foam finish.
The aroma of cinnamon filled the air as the glass touched down on the coaster in front of me. The combination of ale and spice made an excellent blend of bitter-sweetness that finishes with an ever so slight pumpkin hint. If it weren’t for the cinnamon rim, I would say it was bland for a pumpkin ale, but with it. A quite enjoyable brew.
