Czechvar beer

Czechvar beer: seems kind of strange to call it that, and is it only me who finds this easier to drink since Budweiser bought the brand?
Formerly known as Budvar beer
This beer became the centre of a contentious lawsuit between Budweiser and Budvar (the latter had been brewed for centuries, but Anheuser-Busch still felt it had some kind of copyright violation suit). In the end, A-B bought the Budvar brewery and the suit was, if you like, settled.
Czechvar is the renamed beer that is otherwise the same as good old Budvar (or IS it? I remember having a hard time drinking Budvar in my youth, but maybe that says more about my developing tastes).
A smooth, clear, fizzy lager, with more character than some big-name beers I could mention; very wheaty in the nose and moderately hopped aftertaste. Easy to drink. "A good Sunday afternoon beer", says Japanese Beer Delegate and Budvar/Czechvar fan, Douglas Gloag.
