The DC beer guide will surely have some kind of identity crisis...

Travis Edwards is our Beer Delegate for DC (District of Columbia, maybe).
Your Secretary-General read 30 years ago, in the classic tome for curious kids who need a little something to get them through each day, 365 Things to Know, that nobody's quite sure what DC stands for.
Oh, sure. The locals go around calling themselves District of Columbia as if they know best. But as far as anybody's certain, it might as well stand for Decidedly Crappy. Or Dodgy Chromosones.
Before this intro descends further into the mire of farce, meet Travis Edwards. This is a man who is passionate about beer and believes in sharing that passion with other like-minded people.
And if that isn't a perfect fit for our organisation, then one doesn't exist. Read on.
Travis' proposal speech
I come from Portland, Oregon (aka, Land of the Microbrews) and have lived a life under the strong claw of the plethora of beers in the northwest.
Upon moving out to the DC area, my passion has continued to find the best beers and the best place to consume said beers.
Whether it be a dank dark hole
in a
bad part of town or a nine-dollar pint while dressed in a
suit and tie, beer is not just beer.
It’s a defining lifestyle that deserves proper in-depth documentation.
