Delirium Tremens (Belgium), 9% ABV, brewed by Brewery Huyghe in Melle Belgium.
In Eindhoven (The Netherlands) there is a youth-house called Delirium Tremens. The beer Delirium Tremens was made to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the youth-house.
Typical is the white-grey bottle with pink elephants on it. The glass has the same pink elephants. I immediately fell in love with the glass and later with the beer.
This beer must be sipped slowly so you can revel in each sweet drop the gold-yellow colour, creamy-light head and a sweet taste (honey). The aftertaste is fruity, almost cherry.
In 1997 Stuart A. Kallen called Delirium Tremens "The best beer in the world".
