Devil's Pale Ale

Devil's Pale Ale: 6.66 per cent ABV! Now that's freaky
Devil's Pale Ale
I picked up a 473mL can of Devil's Pale Ale - 666 made by Great Lakes Brewing, ON, Canada. It seems to be a seasonal beer released just in time for Halloween!
It is heavily themed around the devil, what with the brewery claiming to have used 666 Kilograms of malt, 6.66 Kilograms of hops, boiling it for 66.6 minutes, giving it 6% abv, and the date of conception for this brew was 06.06.06! Scary!
And don’t forget the catch phrase they added to the can, "The devil made me brew it!"
They get a ton of points from me for presentation -- the crazy satanic-themed marketing worked -- I picked up a bunch of cans as soon as I saw this stuff.
Opening this brew, you find it to have a nice pale-amber colour with sufficient aroma of hops. The taste has a mellow maltiness followed by a pronounced bitterness from all 6.66 Kilos of hops.
This pale ale will not let you down, an excellent drink to be consumed on a cold October night.
The 6% abv will keep you warm and the flavour will have you coming back for more. Of all the brews available from this brewery, this is my new favourite.
