Billed as a vanilla and chocolate stout. This beer smells of both elements, but the taste defies you to spot the vanilla.
It pours dark and slightly headed, with lots of carbonation.
The initial bite is sharp; following quickly is a slight thread of sweetness; the end is a huge bitter wave that sweeps all traces of vanilla away, leaving you with just chocolate malt.
It's a bitter treat. But vanilla fans will be disappointed.
