So here it is. It's taken me a while to make the opportunity to drink this beer. Along the way, I've had many a fine IPA, but this one eclipses them all.

Not because it's more bitter, more "green" or "piney" than the others; simply because it's so beautifully balanced, smooth and, yes, CREAMY. A creamy IPA? A creamy, REAL IPA?

Yes, it is possible. And I could go on about the smell, but you know how an IPA smells by now. I could talk about the dryness, but there is the IPA dryness in the aftertaste. It's the creaminess I love, and the superb tightrope act between hop bitterness and slight barley sweetness.

This is the best IPA I have had; not by huge margins, but the best. Try it.
