beer (4.9% abv) is a pleasant
experience from the moment you lay eyes on the ethereal label.
With floral and pastel tones on the label, it already induces your taste buds to send recognition to the brain. The label describes it best, "Nice malty sweetness and a soft aroma of clove, vanilla and banana, it's unfiltered for a glowing orange haze."
The anticipation is so great. Like a beautiful woman, expectations are high after all that buildup. I undress her and watch her body fill my glass.

A deep golden hue, cloudy, specs of yeast drift to the bottom of the glass, a tall Weiss glass of course. I have lemon on standby just in case.
The first taste, elegant, rich, mild vanilla and some banana flavor. No sign of the cloves.
In general, I think beer and bananas are as far apart as a Kimono dragon and a Panda bear, but somehow this works. The taste of banana is only present as you pull the glass away from your face and is quiet thereafter.
A definite floral aroma is present throughout. Ebel's Weiss beer is a very well-rounded Weiss, doing well to distinguish itself from other Hefe Weizen beers, yet maintaining all the true flavor characteristics of a good Weiss beer.
I think I got all the nuances of flavor out of Ebel's Weiss beer, so I drop in the lemon. The lemon didn’t do anything to alter the flavor of this beer, merely made it taste lemony. You could take or leave the lemon with this beer.
Ebel's Weiss beer is recommended.
