If you have ever been to Evansville, Indiana, then you know there aren't many bars geared toward the college age. Fast Eddy's bar is probably the most well known of the college age bars in town.

The bar is an absolute mess on a Friday or Saturday night! It is way too small for the amount of people security lets in! The dance floor, if you can even call it a dance floor, is a 20' x 20' area with 100 people trying to squeeze in.

However, if you're smart enough to go before 9pm, the atmosphere is completely different. Plenty of tables to sit and drink, while their food is a notch above most other bars.

Fast Eddy's should really just stick to DJ's playing music on Friday and Saturday nights. The bands that are booked to play are below average and never get the crowd as excited as the newest hits provided by a DJ.

I will say that Fast Eddy's is conveniently located in the revived downtown Evansville. It is across the street from a casino and a lounge and hotel. If you have nothing better to do on a weekend night, go visit Fast Eddy's and if you don't like it, you can always go and gamble opposite!
