Fat Angel beer comes from the Magic Hat brewery in Vermont. This brewer is very well regarded, for some reason: I don't really care for most of the beers I've tasted from them so far, including the apparently talismanic Magic Hat #9.

It's not bad, though Fat Angel does seem to have a bit of an identity problem, being red and sweet-smelling, yet tasting like a pale ale. Weird. But decent.
