This beer was my hair of the dog after a nasty Friday evening pub crawl and I enjoyed it so much, I bought it again.

Deep mahogany to brownish-black with a quickly fading thin head. Smells sweet and a little dangerous. Continues below

Tastes fizzy and moderately bitter, with forward alcohol in the mouth. Post-swallow, settles down slowly into a long, moderate sweetness, even as your stomach glows from the 7.7% ABV kick.

Despite its above-average strength, this is an easy-drinking beer and probably dangerous as a result. Well worth a try. Far easier to drink than its much scarier 10% ABV brother, plain old Faxe beer.

Even the impossible can be found on eBay, if you are patient in your searching. Try searching for Russian River (you'll need to narrow down by beer name, ex. Pliny, Damnation, Temptation), Black Albert, or any of the BIG beers. Don't overlook eBay's Belgium Beer results either...
