Four+ Punk'n ale review

This beer pours a lovely copper
orange color and is very
clear. The large foamy head diminishes rapidly to about a
quarter inch of light
brown foam.
There are a lot of very fine bubbles, indicating good carbonation. The aroma is slightly vegetal with hints of nutmeg and pumpkin spice.
There are also hints of berry and tobacco like in a nice cabernet.
Unfortunately there is absolutely nothing of
the aroma in the
flavor of Four+ Punk'n.
The mouth feel is full and nicely malty, but there is absolutely no remnant of the pumpkin spice.
There are also no aroma or bittering hops evident.
Great lacing on the glass though.
Normally this would be a pretty good beer but without the spice flavoring that the aroma and the name imply...
(After warming a bit, there is just a hint of the spice in the flavor.)
