Gavroche beer: imported to Quebec from Belgium, at 8.5% ABV you won't need too many
Gavroche beer is an 8.5% ABV Belgian beer which I found for sale at Supermarche Rahman in Montreal.
Just one sniff tells you that this is going to be enjoyable. It smells sweet and complex, promising to reward your patience if you're prepared to sip rather than gulp it.
Though it's quite sweet, I find its caramel maltiness very appealing. It's one I'd love to try again under better conditions, especially on tap. Let me know your thoughts if you've tried it yourself.
