It isn't hard to be an Austrian in the Lehigh Valley.
You have to find the Austrian atmosphere... and then, ask for a Gosser beer, naturlich!
This Styrian helles brew is offered in several variations. If you are looking for a malty and pale flavor, try the Spezial or Export.
Gösser Märzen is somewhat stronger and is much more yellow in color. These are the true flavors that you will find in Austria itself.
There are some American variations of Gosser beer that are thinner and less flavorful, closer to a Budweiser, watered down taste, named with the American titles, such as Gösser "Gold" and Gösser "Ice".
But if you want the real thing -- and I suggest that you should! -- search for Spezial and Export. The international brew stores in the area all carry them.
