There are beer stores and beer stores. But To qualify for Great Beer Store status, our featured retailers must meet several criteria.

1) Selection

Obviously the allure of a truly GREAT beer retailer must be the scale of its offering.

2) Ease of purchase

Beers must be available in single bottles at great beer shops.

3) Price

You should not need a second mortgage to come out with an excellent selection.

4) Service

The staff in a great beer store should know at least the rudimentary facts about the range the store carries.
