Taking beer on a trip can be rewarding and frustrating.
On the one hand, there's nothing better than a cool beer out in the open air. On the other hand, keeping the beer cool can be a challenge.
A large cooler filled with ice can do the job, but is about as portable as a dead hippo in a burlap sack. (Don't ask.)
Smaller cooler bags are usually designed with groceries or lunches in mind, meaning that beer fits poorly, leading to sub-par performance on the insulation front. There is nothing that gets me riled up quite as much as sub-par performance. I need to cool down for a moment.
OK, so this Guinness 4 Can Cooler Bag is designed to, you guessed it, hold four cans of Guinness beer in perfect harmony.
Packed in tight and wrapped in insulating material, they should remain cool until you finish your hike to the top of Mount Brokeback, or wherever your wandering takes you. You could also use with shorter cans of another beer and put an ice pack on top.
Oh, and remember to take your empties with you. Other people would like to enjoy the view without having to pick up your trash. Seriously, act like frakking grown ups for a change.
