Just one of the many items in our Guinness Store
When you want to reward somebody for a job well done, nothing says "I appreciate what you are doing, but I don't want to give you something that can be exchanged for goods or services" like a giant block of crystal.
Whether your team has shipped a complex piece of software that will make your company millions, or has completed the manufacture of a new aircraft, or has won the tri-state drunken spelling competition for three years in a row, you can reward their hard work with a chunk of crystal.
There are endless uses for a block of crystal, especially one that features a large-billed bird such as a toucan, the eternal symbol of all things Guinness beer.
The decorative function is obvious. It can also be used to keep papers and other light objects from flying away in the wind when you open the window.
If you are filming a police procedural TV show, such as Law and Order or Spongebob Squarepants, it can be used as an unusual murder weapon. I do not recommend using it as a murder weapon in real life, since murder is still illegal in most countries.
One day that outdated law will be changed, but not yet. Not yet.
