It is another wonderful day in the tropical paradise that I call home: sun, sea, surf, and... Guinness? What do I say?
It is a strange but true fact that the dark beer from the damp island of Ireland is a popular beverage in the islands of the Caribbean, although they prefer the stronger "Export" style.
Even I occasionally find myself drawn to the dark stuff when the temperature is hot, since it is a surprisingly refreshing pint.
This Guinness Towel
It can also be a great conversation starter, should an attractive beach dweller pass by and wonder why you have taken a Guinness beer towel to the beach.
Just remember to use suntan lotion and limit your exposure to the sun. In spite of what you may have heard, the foam on the top of a pint of Guinness cannot be used in place of suntan lotion.
