One of the many beers brought over from Japan by my friend and Beer Delegate for Japan, Douglas Gloag. Thanks man!
Pours an unusual deep orange-amber for a wheat beer. Smells deeply fruity and well-rounded, with lots of wheat in the nose. Very small, persistent head.
Lovely moderate, fruit-filled taste, a bit fizzy but in a good way. Almost a citrus-flavoured beer. Long bitter finish after the swallow.
Top marks to the brewery for a cap and ring-pull in one. Nobody needs to carry a bottle opener!
