A slurp of Kellerbier soon sorted out the sweetness issue with the other limited edition beer I tried at the same time, Harpoon Brewery's Peche.
Harpoon Brewery's 100-Barrel limited release Kellerbier was brought back after the first batch sold out and the brewery's customers requested more.
It was described by Vermont Delegate Mattias Dahlstrom as "like IPA lite", being hoppy and delicious, yet not too dry. continues below
I found it quite similar to Brooklyn Lager and enjoyed it just as much.
Drinking Peche again afterwards was a lot easier, as the "hoppy lager" Kellerbier took care of the sweetness, leaving the peach taste to be enjoyed in isolation.
Of course, you may not have the privilege of drinking these two beers together. In which case, hop fans who like a refreshing beer rather than a dry IPA will enjoy Kellerbier.
