Matt Yee suspects Pipeline Porter of being more girly than a girly drink, but likeable nonetheless...
You won't know good beer until it bites you on the behind, or words to that effect from Matt Yee
Steve LaRue reviews The Hawaii Beer Book, a must-read guide to the best breweries, beers and bars of Hawaii

Matt Yee is our Beer Delegate for Hawaii. "Book him, Dano." God, how many times has he heard THAT one?
My Hawaii beer guide might be a bit of a cop show tribute...
Okay, I'll come clean. I was a big Hawaii Five-O fan as a kid. The babes in bikinis, the cool, unlikely cases, the babes in bikinis, the theme tune, the babes in bikinis... it was the CSI of the 1970s. Without the gross phorensic imagery, of course.
One would hope that all this is in the past of Hawaiian culture. At the time, I didn't pay a lot of attention to the show's beer content. We'll leave that up to Matt Yee, the man who's taking on our Hawaii beer guide.

A once self-proclaimed beer snob, going to sports bars and the like have made me inadvertantly appreciate the finer points of Milwaukee's best brews... SIGH.
When you've learned to eat
French Fries that taste like cardboard, real potatoes become
a delight.
I'd like to get back into drinking the good stuff, living the good life.
You can help Matt by applying for Deputy Beer Delegate status for Hawaii, or apply for a different country, province or state, by going to our Beer Delegates page.
