The Belgians know a thing or two about making beer and this white beer ranks right up there with the best.
Hoegaarden is not a beer that I will drink all night long, but it's a great one to start with. After one or two I switch over to something a little more bitter, which is good for the pocket too because this beer is not cheap.
I used to drink a lot of it over in the UK but now that I have moved to South Africa it is difficult to get hold of, unfortunately.
