Our imported beer calorie guide is indispensible reading for beer fans with one eye on the future (and the other eye on the scales).

Why should you care about the calories in the beer you consume?

A regular habit of drinking one beer per night could have a significant impact on your long-term weight. The difference between the most calorific and the least calorific of imported beers (currently 155 cals per 330ml bottle) works out to more than 56,000 calories per year at one 330ml bottle of beer per day.

Some imported beers may taste a little 'ruff'. To gain one pound in weight, assuming no change in exercise, you need to consume 3,500 extra calories.

So by drinking a lighter choice in the above example, you'd save 16lbs of weight gain over the course of a year.

That's why it makes sense to care about those imported beer calorie amounts!
