Include Beer Glasses
(ThinkGeek)
A gift for the programmer in your life from those churlish folks at ThinkGeek. Sure to raise a smile, even if you don't know why.
Sometimes novelty glassware is of lousy quality, but these things are solid. I've had mine for at least five years. I've put them through countless dishwasher cycles. The glasses remain intact and unchipped and the text is still clear.
You might not think it's too impressive that I still have four perfectly intact glasses after five years, but let me tell you: I'm a dropper.
I have broken glasses on the kitchen counter, on the floor, in the sink, in the dishwasher, in the garden, on the table. Once at a restaurant, I accidentally smashed my beer glass with my water glass. If something made of glass survives around me, then you know that it's robust.
The glasses are 12oz shakers, suitable for a standard bottle of American microbrew, or for sharing a 22oz bottle with a loved one. Technically you could share with somebody you're just fond of, or even a mortal enemy, but I prefer to go with love. If you do share a beer with your mortal enemy, make sure to give them the Include Beer glass with the poison in it.
