Fortunately, I only bought one of these... not because it's a bad beer, but because at 8.3% ABV, my intake needs to be limited! This is a creeper, with no sense of the alcohol strength at the sip.
Oak aged, with a lovely rounded smoothness similar to a fine single malt. Caramel sweetness is cut by the oak, and nicely bittered with hops which become apparent after the swallow. A thin, clear golden brown with no lasting head.
Quite an unusual beer, and very tasty.
