So La Carotte du Lievre IS a carrot beer. "probably one of the most refreshing beers on the market", claims its website. Well, there's more than one definition of the word "refreshing" and it's probably not going to meet your expectations if YOUR definition of it is "quenches my thirst".

As those of us with good general beer knowledge will be aware, Carlsberg calls itself "probably the best lager in the world". A bit like saying George W. Bush will probably win the Nobel Peace Prize during his lifetime.

Take an apricot. Stuff it with saccarine and then throw the artificial sweetner bomb into a vat of bitter ale. You aren't halfway close to understanding how bizarre this "beer" really is.
