La Noire Soeur means The Black Nun. This stout, a beer from Le Grimoire microbrewery in Quebec, Canada, really impressed me... eventually! It's very complex, extremely bitter and full of bizarre nuances that take a very long time to identify.
Don't buy it if you're unconvinced about stouts in general. This one won't convert you. But it's a challenging beer that demands questioning of one's faith in beer. Maybe that's why they chose a religious image?
