Big Easy pours clear reddish amber. It has a sweetish smell that promises plenty of action.

Quite gassy in the mouth. There is sweetness there, but it's cut with alcohol and a sharp taste, somewhere between bitter and sour. Candied peel. The overall effect of this beer reminds me of fruit that's been soaked in alcohol for Christmas. It's all right, but not really my thing.
