Thanks to Dave Oplinger for this beer (and many others!).
Pours golden amber-red with a fluffy, small head. Smells strongly of hops, but not the 'up yer nose' stench of an IPA. This APA is almost an IPA lite. It has all the aroma of hops with much less of the dryness that a good, "chewy" IPA will leave you with.
Beautifully balanced, clean, crisp and tasty. Just a little gassy for my tastes, but that is splitting hairs. A good "trade-up" beer for people who are hop-curious, but not yet initiated. Delicious!
