Dark pour, not quite stout dark. Little head. Smells bittersweet and malty. Tastes initially sweet, with a sharply bitter stab at the swallow. Fizzy. Ends with a sweet aftertaste that sticks around. A coffeeish taste in the finish too. An interesting beer.
