Thanks to Dave Oplinger for the great beer gift pack, which included this, his "favorite beer from Lakefront", which is high praise indeed. I had high hopes for it, because I am a big fan of IPAs.

Nice fluffy head, very inviting murky amber body, lovely piney and citrus aroma. Immediately I began to salivate in preparation for the anticipated dry finish that IPAs leave behind them.

WoW, there's no waiting for the hops here! Immediately your tongue begins to curl inwards as the dryness bites. It fizzes through the swallow and the lingering taste of grapefruit and perhaps a tiny sweetness in the finish. The aftertaste begins dry and lingers sweetly, with echoes of those hops returning on the tongue. Delicious!
