Lancaster Brewing Milk stout: Don't have a cow, man
![]() |
I am working my way through a variety pack from Lancaster Brewing Company.
Today I was drinking Lancaster Brewing Milk stout. This is a full-bodied dark beer, but has had milk sugar added in the brewing process to even out the taste and mouth feel.
Typical stouts have the flavor of the roasted grains in it as a back taste, but LBC's Milk Stout has a creamy mouth feel and a coffee back taste to it. It is a very fine stout to drink. The ABV weighs in at 5.3%, just a tad heavier than a regular ale.
This Milk Stout is a perfect brew for watching football, or just enjoying a nice evening at home.
Namaste.
