Lasko Club, brewed by Lasko Brewery, is an exceptionally clean tasting beer, probably due to the region's exceptional water. It is a 4.9% ABV beer, catering to the masses and providing almost no character.
I am disappointed and wish I would have picked something more suitable. I am very tempted to hop the border and head to Italy to sample the wine, but I know I must soldier on to barley territory for the good of the UNOB World Tour of Beer.
What I have learned so far is that people who drink foreign beers seem to prefer a flavourless pilsner that tastes like any other macrobrew available in your local beer repository. I am beginning to regret my choices and consider boarding an imaginary plane back to Canada to pick up some better Eastern European brews.
