Before I tell you about Live Oak Pale Ale, you really have to ask yourself one thing: how do you feel about hops?
If this is the sort of question you have to consider, then this beer isn't for you. And if, Gawd forbid, you're not entirely sure how hops affects the taste of beer, then I know a couple good stores with great prices on Bud Light.

Hell, if you're the sort of person who stopped drinking coffee in the morning once you realized that a few beers work just as well, then this is definitely the beer for you.
Brewed locally in Austin, Texas, Live Oak Pale Ale is one of those microbrews that you won't often come across outside of the state (or outside of Central Texas, for that matter) but should certainly be sampled whenever it crosses your path.
Its a heavy, malty beer that's thick enough so that a large head is unlikely from even a novice bartender, which only somehow adds to the aesthetic of its rich, coppery color. Imagine a brief, sweet glimpse of flavor before being hit with that delicious, bitter taste that makes a good ale so unique and you've got this PA down in a nutshell.
And, if nothing else, you can rest assured that your Bud Light drinking friends will never sneak one from your fridge. Your Live Oak Pale Ale will be delicious and secure from beer theft!
