Equipment you'll need for Mead making

Even the Dryads can't handle their Mead. You're probably going to have to get acquainted with a homebrew store to get most of the items on your shopping list.

A fermenter -- a Carboy (five gallon glass jar) is common
An airlock -- to seal the Mead inside the fermenter
Bottles to decant the Mead into (returnable beer bottles or used champagne bottles)
Bottler capper to seal these bottles
Bottle caps for the capper to use
Three-gallon brewing pot
A funnel large enough to handle the flow from your brewing pot
Plastic tubing for transferring liquids. Two sizes, 3/8" and 1/2"

As you can see, this isn't something you can throw together from stuff lying about in your garage!
