Our Guide to Michigan Breweries begins in strong style. Please volunteer reviews if you can!
We're delighted to have begun our Michigan beer guide at the second attempt, after our first round of publicity garnered total silence from a state apparently pretty big in beer circles.
Fortunately we were luckier the second time around and, after a mad scramble of applications, we pulled our ads offline sharpish, before we ended up with the crazy free-for-all that's currently occupying our California page!
(That's called cross-promoting a brand, by the way, kids.)
Anyway, back to the project in hand.

Edward Glass prefers
not to make a big fuss about his location...

... and Drew Storing learned to count beer bottles at an early age.
And it's in very good hands indeed, as you'll see when I get around to introducing two Beer Delegates responsible for putting Michigan on the global beer atlas!
First up is Edward Glass. Apparently Ed hails from some nowhere burg called Detroit, which may or may not be home to several sports teams.
As you can see, he prefers to travel incognito and will go deep undercover (and sometimes under table) to report on the best that Michigan has to offer us. Welcome, Edward.
Alongside Ed is Drew Storing, apparently the happiest applicant... and we presume it's not because that thumb was previously lodged somewhere it shouldn't have been (the neck of a beer bottle, for example).
We hope Drew will be 'fingering' some of the best breweries, bars and beers in Michigan before long. Watch this space.
Read on for their
application
speeches! And if you'd like to join Edward and Drew in
bringing
Michigan beer content to the UNOB, don't delay, apply TODAY by
visiting our Beer Delegates page.
As I sit here in Bo's Brewery & Bistro, having a beer (a welcomed coincidence), I find myself unable to fully describe my current state of excitement.
I work as a freelance writer and from time to time I get to write about interesting things, people and places. Yet when I saw that you're looking for individuals to write about beer, I was certain that I had struck gold.
I have been a beer drinker for over ten years and an established writer for three and I never imagined being able to do both – legitimately. Sign me up.
It would be a great honor to become a Beer
Delegate
for the UNOB. I have traveled the State of Michigan, bar hopping and tasting
beer for quite some time now.
It would nothing less than a pleasure letting the world know about the many great breweries and backwoods bars that we have here. Please consider me as a Delegate and I will keep your glass full and the tap flowing. Thank you!
Think you would make a great Beer Delegate? Don't be shy! Come to our Beer Delegates page and apply!
